Boothcamps

With this option you use the interpreting platform as a virtual learning and practice environment. As a lecturer, you can work with your students completely independently. Interpreter colleagues who want to practise together to keep up their interpreting skills or hone them without any technical assistance can use this practice platform.

Boothcamp Training

The virtual lounge on cAPPisco is so interpreter-friendly that it can also be used as a virtual classroom or practice room for interpreter trainees. Students/interpreters are always visible and audible, to each other and to their lecturer. They can switch back and forth easily between the virtual classroom (for group feedback) and the individual booths.

Students can work with this virtual interpreting platform, individually or in a group in fully-equipped virtual booths outside the contact hours with their lecturer.

Boothcamp Fun

Conference interpreters who, in addition to their interpreting assignments, want to practise with their interpreter colleagues to keep up or improve their interpreting skills, have this option as a virtual interpreting traineeship with an informal ‘lounge’ where they can talk to each other and organise shared feedback opportunities. From there they can go to the fully-equipped to practise, either individually or in pairs.
